Peyton Manning passed for 353 yards and two touchdowns and the Indianapolis Colts stayed unbeaten Sunday with a 34-17 thrashing of the Seattle Seahawks. Manning completed 31-of-41 throws, leading the Colts to their fourth 4-0 start in the past five years. Reggie Wayne caught one of the touchdown passes, a 5-yarder, and Austin Collie grabbed the other on a 21-yard play. Donald Brown ran for a 1-yard score and Joseph Addai contributed a 12-yard touchdown run for Indianapolis, which has won 13-straight regular-season games going back to last season. Seneca Wallace completed 33-of-45 passes for 257 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown pass to Owen Schmitt.
Peyton Manning connected for four touchdown passes and 379 yards passing Sunday in the Indianapolis Colts' 31-10 thrashing of Arizona. Manning went 24-of-35 passing and threw TD passes to four different receivers as the Colts amassed 505 yards total offense. Reggie Wayne caught seven passes for 126 yards and a TD and tight end Dallas Clark had seven catches for 62 yards and a score.
Dominic Rhodes put Indianapolis in front midway through the final period Sunday and the Colts clinched a playoff berth by defeating winless Detroit 31-21. Indianapolis (10-4), which will enter the playoffs as one of the AFC's two wild-card teams, won its seventh straight game.
All that talk about defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis being better this season just might be true.
