Jiyai Shin of South Korea rallied with a 6-under-par 66 Sunday and won the HSBC Champions Tournament in Singapore by two strokes over Katherine Hull. Shin finished at 11-under 277 for her fourth victory on the LPGA tour.
Australia's Katherine Hull shot 6-under-par 66 Saturday to grab a two-stroke lead through 54 holes at the HSBC Women's Champions Tournament in Singapore. Hull's three-round total, 11-under 205, leads American Angela Stanford (66), a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour last season.
Katherine Hull climbed six places to No 20 in the women's world golf rankings following her weekend victory in the Australian Ladies Masters.
The LPGA Hall of Fame career of Annika Sorenstam came to an end Friday when she missed the cut at the ADT Championship in West Palm Beach, Fla. Sorenstam shot 3-over-par 75 and was at 5-under 149 after two rounds of the season-ending ladies golf tournament.
