This is the 'double-burden' of malnutrition in the MENA region and both conditions are rooted in poor diet lacking in vitamins and minerals. UAE's President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said the UAE has written off the Iraqi debts and interest worth US$4 billion. The debts were offered to Iraq in different periods.
