Text of report in English by Russian news agency ITAR-TASS Donetsk, 25 July: Over half of Ukrainian citizens insist that the status of the Russian language in Ukraine must be changed, the Social Monitoring Centre said in comments on a July 10-18 poll.

The Kiev Pecherskyy district court has rejected the Cabinet of Ministers' suit against Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko's inactivity in dismissing Arsen Avakov as the head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Ukrainian UNIAN news agency reported on 13 July.
