By Tony Thornton, The Oklahoman Oct. 30--A federal judge has rejected the state's request to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a Texas water district that wants to obtain 150 billion gallons a year from Oklahoma streams. The ruling would seem to endanger Oklahoma's moratorium on out-of-state water sales.
By Bryan Dean, The Daily Oklahoman Apr. 11--Oklahoma City is protesting a request by a Texas water district for Oklahoma water. The Tarrant Regional Water District, based in Fort Worth, filed a request in January for 150 billion gallons of water a year from below Hugo Lake on the Kiamichi River.
