CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., July 31 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Space shuttle Endeavour and its crew of seven astronauts ended a 16-day journey of more than 6.5 million miles with a 10:48 a.m. EDT landing Friday at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Space Shuttle Endeavour made a safe return to Earth on Friday to complete the 16-day mission.

The U.S. space shuttle Endeavour left the International Space Station Tuesday afternoon to begin a three-day trip home after 11 days of linked flight. The shuttle undocked from the massive orbiting laboratory at 1:26 p.m.

Two astronauts have completed their fifth and final spacewalk during the US space shuttle Endeavor's rendezvous with the International Space Station, after installing two cameras in Japan's Kibo Laboratory.
