Lannett Company, a manufacturer of generic pharmaceutical products, has received approvals from the FDA of its abbreviated new drug applications for doxycycline tablets, 75mg and 150mg, the generic equivalent of Adoxa marketed by Par Pharmaceutical.

Lannett Company has received approval from the FDA of its abbreviated new drug application for rifampin capsules in 150mg and 300mg.

Generic pharmaceuticals manufacturer Lannett Company said that it is "dismayed" by the FDA's decision to allow companies two years to meet new standards in ensuring the potency of thyroid drugs up to the expiry date.
