This brings the total number of Latin GRAMMY® Categories that will be recognized in November 2012 to 47 (previously 46). Additionally, Auditorio Nacional Executive Coordinator Maria Cristina Garcia-Cepeda (Mexico), producer/songwriter/composer/entrepreneur Cris Morena (Argentina), four-time Latin GRAMMY®-winning composer Oscar Gomez (Cuban/Spanish), and Latin GRAMMY winner Johnny Ventura (Dominican Republic) are elected to The Latin Recording Academy's Board of Trustees. XIII Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards (www.latingrammy.com) will take place at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Events Center on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, and will air live in the United States on the Univision Network from 8-11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central). This marks the fifth time that Latin music's most prestigious awards telecast will take place in Las Vegas. Nominations for the XIII Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at a live press conference at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. The Latin Recording Academy® (www.latingrammy.com) proudly announced its official sponsors for the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards. Heineken, 7UP, Delta Air Lines, Walmart, McDonald's®, Procter & Gamble's Orgullosa brand, CoverGirl, and Allstate have all signed on to support and promote this year's Latin GRAMMY Awards in Las Vegas. Additionally, PEOPLE en Espanol, Univision Radio and PRISA Digital have signed on as media partners. The Biggest Night in Latin Music will once again be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011.
