The Phoenix Suns have lost guard Leandro Barbosa for at least a week due to a left knee injury. Tests, including x-rays and an MRI, revealed a bone bruise but no structural damage. The 6-foot-3 inch native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, was hurt in the first quarter of Wednesday' 126-116 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. His left leg bent the wrong way without contact when he landed near the baseline after a contested layup, skipped and crashed to the floor in pain.
