MILWAUKEE _ Miller Brewing Co. and Coors Brewing Co., the nation's second- and third-largest brewers, are combining their operations, creating a bigger challenger to Anheuser-Busch Cos. _ but also raising the possibility of future job cuts.

Sep. 2--Molson Coors Brewing Co. is investigating a complaint about the sale of company stock connected to options exercised by two of its top executives, the company said Thursday in a regulatory filing.

DENVER - Adolph Coors Co. and Canada's Molson Inc. announced a plan Thursday to combine their family-run breweries into the world's fifth-largest beermaker and better position themselves to pursue growing overseas markets.
