YOUNGSTERS queued around the block for their chance to step into the spotlight in a show billed as Britain's number one panto. The Empire Theatre yesterday held open auditions for children's roles in its spectacular Christmas production Cinderella.

LES Dennis will be one of the stars of a new Midland film which will raise money for charity. Waiting In Rhyme is being produced by the team behind last year's Expresso which starred Norman Wisdom, Don Warrington and Geoffrey Hughes.
