By Linda McKee Pupils at Sperrin Integrated College in Magherafelt have been working on a wetland project to help restore the Coppies River, a tributary of the River Moyola and a vital habitat for brown trout.

And features will also be created along the bridges spanning the rivers in the wetlands, to help to conserve the rich bat populations found there. All eight of Northern Ireland's bat species occur in the Lough Neagh area.
