News - Louis-Dreyfus
By Steve Gorman LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Two weeks into her latest television comeback, actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus appears to have a shot at finally breaking the "Seinfeld" curse.
By Rick Kushman, The Sacramento Bee, Calif. Mar. 13--Here's some good news. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is back in a comedy tonight and she's pretty funny. And don't even mention the alleged "Seinfeld." Her series is CBS' "The New Adventures of Old Christine," a show that's way less clumsy than the name.
By Albert Ching, The Tribune, Mesa, Ariz. Mar. 13--Much has been made of the "Seinfeld Curse" -- the fact that the supporting cast of the acclaimed sitcom hasn't managed to star in a successful TV show, despite several attempts, since "Seinfeld" went off the air in 1998.
By Molly Willow, The Columbus Dispatch, Ohio Mar. 13--Christine Campbell and Elaine Benes would hate each other. The two characters played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus -- the former in The New Adventures of Old Christine, premiering tonight, and the latter in Seinfeld -- couldn't have less in common.
