A GIRL of 10 drowned after drifting two miles out to sea yesterday afternoon. Rescuers made the grim discovery after the local girl had been reported out of her depth 50 metres off a beach in Lowestoft, Suffolk, at 3.30pm. Her father raised the alarm after the girl was swept away from the pier.
