Stargazers all over the world are invited to simultaneously watch the total lunar eclipse unfold in what is expected to be the largest audience ever assembled for a celestial event.
Orbiting about 31 miles above the lunar surface, NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft will get a "front-row seat" to the total lunar eclipse on June 15.
ESA’s Proba-2 microsatellite experienced a conjunction of the spheres on Tuesday, as the Sun, Moon and Earth all lined up in front of it.
