Rod Barajas had a three-run homer Monday to help the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Boston Red Sox 11-5 in a rain-shortened game. Jose Bautista added a two-run homer and also had three RBI while Lyle Overbay drove in two runs for the Blue Jays, who have won four in a row and seven of their last eight games. Scott Richmond (8-10) went six innings for the win, allowing four runs and six hits. Kevin Youkilis hit two home runs and had three RBI for the Red Sox, who have lost four in a row.

Roy Halladay broke out of a recent slump Friday to throw a seven-hit shutout and carry Toronto to a 5-0 decision over Seattle. Halladay (16-10) had lost five of his previous seven starts, but produced the 48th complete game and 14th shutout of his 12-year career.
