The U.S. television movie adaptation of Susan Coll's Acceptance: A Novel is set to air Aug. 22 on Lifetime Television, the network announced.

Hollywood actresses Joan Cusack and Mae Whitman have signed on to star in the TV movie Acceptance, Lifetime announced. Cusack is best known for her work in Say Anything, Working Girl, In & Out, Grosse Point Blank, Nine Months and High Fidelity.
