The Hornets had lost two of their previous three games, but made 51 percent of their shots from the field and had no problem with the struggling Clippers after opening a 10-point lead through one period. James Posey added 16 points for New Orleans and Tyson Chandler had 13. The Clippers have lost 10 in a row and are one of four teams in the NBA this season that have yet to reach 10 victories.
