Broadway actress Marilyn Cooper, best known for her role in the musical Woman of the Year, has died in Englewood, N.J., at the age of 74, a friend says. Actress Virginia Seidel said Cooper used her voice and comedic abilities to win a 1981 Tony Award for her role in the stage musical, The New York Times reported Saturday. She had a super voice and super comedic timing, and appearing in just a single number in 'Woman of the Year' she became one of the great memories of that show, Seidel said of Cooper, who died Wednesday night of unspecified causes.
