Dan Cleary, Valtteri Filppula, Niklas Kronwall, Brian Rafalski and Henrik Zetterberg scored for the Red Wings, who rebounded from a pair of 4-2 setbacks in Pittsburgh.

Semin's goal with 6:58 left in the first period put the Caps ahead 2-1 and they stayed in front the rest of the way. The other two Washington goals, by Shaone Morrisonn and Brooks Laich, came within a 25-second span in the second period.
The Edmonton Oilers traded goaltender Mathieu Garon to Pittsburgh Saturday for goalie Dany Sabourin and forward Ryan Stone, the Oilers announced. The Oilers also got a fourth-round draft choice in 2011. Sabourin had a 6-8-2 record with a 2.85 goals-against average in 19 games for the Penguins this season. Garon's record with Edmonton was 6-8-0 with a 3.17 goals-against average. Addressing our goaltending situation was a high priority for us and moving forward, we believe we've accomplished that as well as acquiring some valuable assets for our organization, Oilers General Manager Steve Tambellini said.
Shawn Horcoff scored the game-winning goal with 6:35 remaining in the third period Friday night, giving the Edmonton Oilers a 3-2 victory over Colorado. The teams came into the game tied at the bottom of the Northwest Division with 45 points.
