Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has a fractured rib, the team said Monday. Seahawks Coach Jim Mora reported the injury Monday but didn't say what Hasselbeck's status was for Seattle's next game against Chicago. He seems to be doing a lot better today, certainly than he was yesterday, Mora said.

Frank Gore ran for touchdowns of 79 and 80 yards and totaled 207 yards rushing Sunday, carrying the San Francisco 49ers past the Seattle Seahawks 23-10. Gore also caught five passes for 39 yards.
