British actor Richard Armitage has joined the cast of the popular U.K. spy drama series "Spooks," known as "MI-5" when it airs on BBC America.

By Marion McMullen ENTERTAINMENT WRITER A HOST of stars are lined up for Warwickshire writer Andrew Davies's major new adaptation of Dickens novel Little Dorrit. Leading actor Tom Courtney, Doctor Who favourite Freema Agyeman and New Tricks actress Amanda Redman will be in the cast.

The TV period drama Cranford led the field with three nods when nominations for the British Academy Television Awards were announced Tuesday. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts prize presentation is to be April 20 at the London Palladium.

For fans of espionage and high drama, BBC America is tossing you a bone with their premiere of the third season of "MI-5" on March 12. Which is in some ways unfortunate because the series, known as "Spooks," is its sixth season in the UK.
