Helen Hunt is in talks to replace Maura Tierney, who is undergoing treatments for breast cancer, in the new TV series Parenthood, The Hollywood Reporter said. Hunt is best known for her Emmy Award-winning work in TV's Mad About You and for her Oscar-winning turn in the film As Good As It Gets. Parenthood is a contemporary small-screen adaptation of Ron Howard's 1989 movie of the same name, which was about four adult siblings with their own children. In the upcoming mid-season show, Peter Krause, Erika Christensen and Dax Shepard play three of the siblings, while Bonnie Bedelia and Craig T.
