MICHAEL BARRYMORE says that he is pinning his hopes of a career revival on his forthcoming appearance as Spike Milligan in a Fringe show. The entertainer is due to appear in Surviving Spike at the Assembly Rooms, starring alongside Strictly Come Dancing winner Jill Halfpenny.
