TRANSPORT enthusiast Ashley Wakelin will be returning to the Bedworth Society to give the second part of an illustrated talk on Monday. An enthusiast on the history of transport, Mr Wakelin has set up the company Wheels, with the help of a friend.
Train and bus operator Stagecoach said it was on track for stronger-than-expected profits after revenues soared at its rail division. UK rail revenues rose 15.7 per cent on a like-for-like basis in the 24 weeks to October 14, while it bus arm achieved growth of 7.9 per cent on a year earlier.

AS the never-ending saga of Sutton Coldfield's new bus station continues to rumble on the last reminder of a previous depot is being removed. The Midland Red Club on South Parade, named after the original bus station, is set to change its name to the Royal Sutton Sports and Social Club.
