By Bridget Flynn, The Pantagraph, Bloomington, Ill. Apr. 21--BLOOMINGTON -- The weather might have been too warm for big, heavy costumes, but that did not stop the Miller Park Zoo from celebrating "Halloween in April, Zoo Style" on Sunday.
It's estimated that half of the world's 6,000 amphibian species are threatened by disease, pollution and climate change, according to Amphibian Ark, a U.S.-based effort to rescue species from extinction.
