ROCK bands and live singers will be performing at an afternoon event to raise funds for children with special needs. The East Lothian group, Special Kids in Play (SKIP) is holding SKIP Rocks! in Musselburgh tomorrow.

A NEW headmaster has been welcomed at Scotland's oldest independent school. Peter Hogan has joined Loretto in Musselburgh, replacing Michael Mavor who retired after seven years. Mr Hogan was the warden of Llandovery College in Wales for almost a decade.
