By Annie Freeda Cruez PUTRAJAYA: In a sweeping move to ensure the health and well- being of National Service trainees, the government has decided to station three medical assistants and two nurses at each camp. And a doctor will visit the camps at least once a week.
ALTHOUGH it is still not clear whether the recent death of a National Service trainee was health-related, the National Service Training Council is nevertheless pushing once again for mandatory pre-entry medical check-ups.
