The Minnesota Timberwolves have picked up veteran guard Antonio Daniels and a future second-round draft pick from the New Orleans Hornets. Minnesota gave up forward Darius Songaila and guard Bobby Brown. Daniels, 34, split time with the Hornets and Washington Wizards last season.

New Orleans has traded guard Rasual Butler to the Los Angeles Clippers for a future second-round draft pick, the Hornets announced Wednesday.
