LAYTON -- Got a question, complaint or advice for county officials? The Davis County Commission will hold an open house Thursday to talk to residents about the county.
Just days after North Salt Lake and Salt Lake City reached a settlement in a fight over 80 acres of foothill open space, Sen. Dan Eastman, R-Bountiful, killed a bill he had sponsored to assist North Salt Lake in the fight. SB130 was pulled from the Senate calendar on Monday afternoon, and filed.
NORTH SALT LAKE -- The Davis County Board of Commissioners will hold the second of 15 special open houses in North Salt Lake on Feb. 20. The open house will offer a chance for county residents to make comments to the three-member commission in an informal setting.
