Victories by Petra Kvitova and Lucie Safarova Sunday sealed a 4-1 Czech Republic domination of Spain in the Fed Cup quarterfinals at Brno, Czech Republic. The Czechs took a 2-1 advantage into Sunday's matches and clinched their surprising victory when Kvitova beat Nuria Llagostera Vives 6-4, 7-5. Safarova, who replaced Iveta Benesova Saturday, recorded a 6-4, 6-3 win over Carla Suarez Navarro. In a meaningless doubles match, Benesova teamed with Kveta Peschke in a 6-4, 6-2 win over Lourdes Dominguez-Lino and Maria-Jose Martinez Sanchez. The Czech players did very well, said Spain captain Miguel Margets Lobato.
