Hot-hitting Washington Nationals center fielder Nyjer Morgan will miss the rest of the season with a broken left hand. The speedster suffered the injury in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs during a head-first slide while trying to steal third base in the top of the first inning. The Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals made a four-player trade Tuesday. The Pirates acquired outfielder Lastings Milledge and right-handed pitcher Joel Hanrahan in exchange for outfielder Nyjer Morgan and left-handed pitcher Sean Burnett.
