By SCOTT WILLIAMS Waukesha -- For the second time in recent months, the state has filed suit to protect a Waukesha County lake against the perceived threat of encroaching shoreline development.
By BOB RIEPENHOFF Okauchee - Each spring, as the water warms up in lakes across the state, bass move into the shallows for their annual spawning ritual. The males arrive in shallows first to make spawning beds - irregularly shaped patches of shoreline gravel, swept clean of sediment or muck.
