By Joan Gilmore Here we are in August. Schools are starting up. Labor Day weekend is near. And the big, big, big free festival for families, SeptemberFest, is coming up Sept. 6 on the grounds of the Governor's Mansion and across NE 23rd Street at the Oklahoma History Center.

By The Daily Oklahoman Nov. 10--The Oklahoma History Center will celebrate Veterans Day by giving all veterans and current service members, including members of the National Guard and Armed Forces Reserve, free admission Saturday to the center, 2401 N Laird Ave. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
