By SUSAN HYLTON MUSKOGEE -- Not that long ago, when gasoline cost $1.54 a gallon, Tom Keister thought he would tool around everywhere in his new recreational vehicle. But the Eufaula retiree didn't go anywhere with gas prices soaring to nearly $4 a gallon.
Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. will offer customers the option of locking in the per-unit cost of the natural gas. The Voluntary Fixed-Price Plan price for natural gas will be $11.048 per dekatherm, effective for the 12-month period beginning Nov. 1.
