DURHAM, N.C., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- S&R Communications Group has entered a strategic partnership with Ovation Pharmaceuticals, Inc., to launch Xenazine* (tetrabenazine), a treatment for chorea associated with Huntington's disease (HD).

Ovation Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company, has announced that the FDA has accepted for review the biologics license application for ATryn. Ovation acquired the exclusive US license to ATryn from GTC Biotherapeutics, allowing the company to develop and commercialize the product in the US.

Ovation Pharmaceuticals has acquired from Prestwick Pharmaceuticals the exclusive license in the US to commercialize Xenazine, an orphan drug recently approved by the FDA for the treatment of chorea associated with Huntington's disease. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
