The Minnesota Wild, led by Owen Nolan's two goals and one assist Saturday, battered the Detroit Red Wings, 5-2. Nolan scored his 16th goal of the season at 2:50 of the first period after assists from Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Marc-Andre Bergeron, and his 17th (power play) at 8:15 of the second.
