ORENBURG. Sept 26 (Interfax) - The Russian and Venezuelan energy ministries signed a memorandum of understanding in Orenburg on Friday that envisions the creation of a Russian-Venezuelan consortium.
Text of report by corporate-owned Russian news agency Interfax Orenburg, 26 September: A memorandum on mutual understanding signed by the Russian and Venezuelan energy ministries in Orenburg today provides for the creation of a Russian-Venezuelan consortium.
Venezuela's minister for energy and petroleum and president of state-owned oil company PDVSA, Rafael Ramirez, has said that the government is not planning to expropriate gas stations across the country.
Anglo-Russian oil company TNK-BP has signed a joint study agreement with PDVSA for the Ayacucho-2 block in Venezuela's Orinoco oil belt.
Brazilian energy major Petrobras and the Venezuelan national oil company PDVSA, have signed agreements of principles for the purchase and sale of liquefied natural gas to be supplied by PDVSA.
