Pantaloon Retail India has announced that its joint venture company Blue Foods has entered into a franchisee agreement with US-based The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf chain. Sunil Kapoor, managing director of Blue Foods, said the portfolio of Coffee Bean will be customized to suit Indian tastes.

Pantaloon Retail (India), a manufacturer and retailer of apparel, has signed a 50:50 joint venture agreement with UAE-based Axiom Telecom, a distributor, retailer and aftersales support provider of mobile phones.
