By Molly McMillin, The Wichita Eagle, Kan. Dec. 12--Despite challenges ahead, Boeing does not see further delays in its 787 Dreamliner, officials said Tuesday. The company is on track to deliver the plane in late 2008, they said. Officials also reaffirmed plans to deliver 109 Dreamliners by 2009.

Boeing is sticking with its plans to churn out 787s by next year at a faster rate than it has ever achieved for other large jetliners. It hopes to have made 109 of the mostly composite planes by the end of 2009, producing nearly 10 aircraft per month.
