By Elizabeth White, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS SAN ANTONIO - Broadcaster Dick Vitale, a man who had limited success as a coach but brought the game of basketball to millions of TV watchers, was selected to the game's Hall of Fame on Monday alongside Pat Riley, one of the most successful NBA coaches of all time.

The 2008 Basketball Hall of Fame class includes centers Hakeem Olajuwon and Patrick Ewing, and five-time NBA champion coach Pat Riley.

Centers Hakeem Olajuwon and Patrick Ewing, forever linked from battles in college and the NBA, as well as five-time NBA champion coach Pat Riley, headline the 2008 Basketball Hall of Fame class.
