Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin won both the Hart Trophy and the Pearson Award Thursday at the NHL's annual post-season banquet. Ovechkin became the 14th player to win both the awards in the same year.

Chris Osgood made 22 saves in his 15th career playoff shutout Saturday when the Detroit Red Wings beat Pittsburgh 5-0 for a 3-2 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals. Detroit scored four second period goals -- three on the power play. Dan Cleary, Valtteri Filppula, Niklas Kronwall, Brian Rafalski and Henrik Zetterberg scored for the Red Wings, who rebounded from a pair of 4-2 setbacks in Pittsburgh.
