By Garin Groff, The Tribune, Mesa, Ariz. Oct. 26--Several freeways will close or be restricted this weekend, including Loop 101, U.S. 60 and Interstate 17. The restrictions include: --The northbound Pima Freeway stretch of Loop 101 will close from Indian School Road to Shea Boulevard from 9 p.m.

Rural/Metro, a provider of medical transportation services, has announced that its Southwest Ambulance subsidiary has won a three-year contract extension to continue as the exclusive emergency ambulance provider in Peoria, Arizona. The extension period continues through August 2010.
