HOUSTON, May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NASA astronaut Piers Sellers is moving from the Johnson Space Center in Houston to the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.
After taking it on a journey of almost 8 million km on board the Atlantis space shuttle, on the afternoon of Friday 10 December British-born astronaut Piers Sellers will return the Jackson-Gwilt medal to Professor Roger Davies, the President of the Royal Astronomical Society.
NASA Headquarters in Washington will welcome space shuttle Atlantis' STS-132 astronauts and International Space Station Expedition 22 and 23 Flight Engineer TJ Creamer for a visit Monday, July 26, through Thursday, July 29.
NASA's space shuttle astronauts will answer elementary and middle school students' questions Saturday while orbiting approximately 220 miles above Earth on the International Space Station.
