A Canadian-American consortium with plans to ferry cargo and people to the International Space Station from a launch site in Cape Breton says its failure to secure a contract from NASA won't affect the future of the project.

By THE CANADIAN PRESS HALIFAX - A Canadian-American consortium that wanted to launch rockets from Cape Breton has failed to land a contract with NASA.

Space Florida announced today it recently entered into a Teaming Agreement with PlanetSpace, offering support as they prepare and submit their proposal in response to the NASA COTS request for proposal.

PlanetSpace is announcing that they have submitted a proposal response to NASA's recent COTS (Commercial Orbital Transportation Services Phase 1 Demonstrations) request for proposals.
