Two-time U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen, seeking his first PGA Tour win in more than three years, grabbed the lead Friday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Goosen shot an 8-under 64 at the Pebble Beach Golf Links to move two shots in front midway through one of the tour's prestige stops.

Robert Garrigus and Dustin Johnson shot matching 7-under-par 65s Thursday and share the lead through 18 holes at the PGA AT&T Pebble Beach (Calif.) Pro-Am. The tournament features professionals teaming with amateurs throughout the week, with golfers rotating over three courses for the first three rounds.

Phil Mickelson only had to cope with the cold and rain. The missing element Friday was wind, and that helped him sail to a 5-under 67 and a share of the lead with Jim Furyk at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
