TBILISI. March 16 (Interfax) - Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has called on opposition supporters to unite around the idea of the country's entry to NATO.

The wife of Georgian President-elect Mikheil Saakashvili, Sandra Roelofs, took part in the New Year festivities for children at the Russian embassy in Azerbaijan on 13 January, Baku-based Day.az news agency has reported.

TBILISI. Jan 13 (Interfax) - Chairman of the Georgian Central Elections Commission (CEC) Levan Tarkhnishvili said that there will be no second round of the Georgian presidential elections as Mikheil Saakashvili won in the first round with 53.4% of votes.
