After successfully touring his film "Box Elder," filmmaker Todd Sklar with Range Life Entertainment kicks off a nationwide tour to 40 cities with four films starting tomorrow at Ragtag Cinema, 10 Hitt St. "It's an honor for me to be able to bring these films to Columbia and kick things off at Ragtag.
Editor, the Tribune: Paul Sturtz is someone who can take a bad situation and turn it into something great. When the last downtown movie theater closed, Paul co-founded the marvelous Ragtag Cinema.

By Joe Meyer, Columbia Daily Tribune, Mo. Mar. 3--The final tallies aren't in, but organizers of the True/False Film Festival said early indications are that total attendance eclipsed last year's record of about 14,500. Not bad for a year organizers first thought it might be best to skip.
As the saying in Columbia goes: if you build it, film lovers will come. That happens today when the four-day True/False Film Festival turns out the lights and turns on the talent. Film fans can check out Ragtag Cinema's new digs at 10 Hitt St., which now includes Uprise Bakery.
