By Karen Zapf Seven years ago, when Audrey Luciana was deciding where to send her son to kindergarten, she considered public school. But there was something missing. After doing some research, the Oakmont mother found a school practically in her back yard -- Redeemer Lutheran School.

Bergstrasse Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, will celebrate a service of the Great O Antiphons at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Covenant United Methodist Church, 110 N. Mulberry St., will present its Christmas musical program, "Morning Star," at 10 a.m. Sunday.

The monthly gathering of Cowboys for Christ Fellowship will start at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Kist Livestock sales arena on Memorial Highway in Mandan.

Eloise Deihl, of Dilworth, Minn., will speak to the Bismarck- Mandan Christian Women's Clubs June 14. Her topic will be "Fasten Your Seat Belt:It's going to be a Bumpy Ride." Reservations and cancellations are necessary by Tuesday.
