npower renewables, RWE Innogy's wholly owned UK-based subsidiary, has acquired 50% of the equity in Greater Gabbard Offshore Winds Limited from Scottish and Southern Energy.

German utility RWE's subsidiary npower renewables has completed the installation of all 25 wind turbine foundations at its Rhyl Flats offshore wind farm off the North Wales coast.

RWE Innogy has announced that the construction of the offshore wind farm Rhyl Flats off the Welsh coast is progressing. The foundation for the first turbine was laid recently on the sea bed at a depth of around 15 meters.
